5 year guarantee
1. Scope of the guarantee
This guarantee is a guarantee of quality and durability within the meaning of § 443 BGB. The guarantor is the Garantie-Database 24 GmbH (hereinafter “guarantor”). This guarantee applies to all permanently installed new built-in and free-standing electrical appliances purchased from your seller and listed individually in the guarantee certificate, e.g. Refrigerators or Freezers, stoves, Microwaves, Ovens, dishwashers ;lers and Extractor hoods and fully automatic Coffee machines as well as fittings.
This guarantee does not limit your statutory warranty rights to which you are entitled towards the seller.
The guarantor will reimburse you, in accordance with the following guarantee conditions, the costs of repairing your device in the event of errors that can be proven to be due to design or manufacturing errors, casting or material defects.
For fully automatic Coffee machines, the different and supplementary conditions in accordance with point 7 also apply.
For fittings, the different and supplementary conditions in accordance with point 8 also apply.
The warranty claim requires that the error was remedied exclusively by the customer Service commissioned by the guarantor and that the warranty claim was resolved within a exclusion period of two weeks after it occurred - according to the regulation in point 6 (What to do in the event of damage?) — was reported.
The guarantee covers the reimbursement of the following costs:
- Material costs and costs for repairing defective parts or replacing them with new parts;
- Remuneration for eliminating errors;
- Arrival and departure costs;
- Transportation costs (except for fully automatic Coffee machines).
Costs for troubleshooting, testing, orientation visits, cost estimates, etc. will not be refunded.
2. Start and end of the guarantee
The guarantee begins after this guarantee certificate is issued and ends after 60 months from the delivery date. The guarantee only applies to errors that occurred within 24 months of the delivery date or after the seller's statutory warranty expired. Guarantee services provided do not result in an extension of the guarantee period.
3. Exclusions / Waiver of Warranty
This warranty is not a maintenance contract. Maintenance work and the replacement of wearing parts are not covered under this guarantee.
The guarantee therefore does not extend to:
- Damage caused by improper treatment, excessive stress, chemical or electrochemical effects of water, carryover of alkali, grinder sticking, blockages, change of location without a specialist shipping company.
- Minor errors that are not significant for suitability for use.
- Glass, rubber, plastic, seals of all kinds, enamel, Service / care, checking / maintenance, cleaning / descaling of the device, lamps (including those required for their operation, technical devices), door handles/turn handles (switches), components for milk frothing and easily breakable materials.
- Damage caused by external influences and events (e.g. water damage after a pipe burst) and other abnormal environmental conditions and natural damage.
- Damage caused by natural wear and tear (including the grinder), overloading, incorrect Accessories.
- Damage caused by the use of Accessories, supplements, add-on parts, care products and coffee beans that have not been specifically approved for fully automatic coffee machines by the manufacturer.
- Commercially used devices. This applies accordingly to comparable use by, for example, freelancers, organizations, authorities.
In case of violation If you violate these guarantee conditions or fail to meet the requirements stated here, the guarantee expires completely. The guarantee expires in particular in the event of repairs and interventions by customer services not commissioned by us or if they are carried out by ourselves.
4. Guarantee cap
The guarantee amount per device is limited to the new purchase price. This applies regardless of whether in the individual case the expected repair costs exceed the purchase price of the device in question (total loss) or whether the expected repair costs together with warranty services already provided for the same device ;t exceed the purchase price. If a repair would exceed the purchase price, the purchase price of the device less any warranty services already provided will be reimbursed instead of the repair costs. If spare parts are missing, the guarantor will set a flat rate reimbursement fee as part of the suspended repair. If the upper guarantee limit is exceeded, the guarantee expires prematurely.
5. Liability
Liability for further claims due to a defect (e.g. external or consequential damage outside the device, other accompanying damage) is excluded. The statutory warranty and liability of the seller as well as the manufacturer's liability under the Product Liability Act remain unaffected by this exclusion of liability.
6. What to do in the event of damage?
To safeguard your warranty claims, you must report any damage directly to the guarantor within 14 days before engaging a repair Service. The guarantor will then commission a customer service to carry out the repair for you.

7. Conditions for fully automatic coffee machines
In addition:
- The transport of the stand-alone devices to the factory customer service (back and forth) is generally at your own expense and risk.
- The guarantee ends prematurely if the factory-set instructions for use, care, cleaning, descaling/service, lack of maintenance and cleaning are not adhered to, as well as if 15,000 cups have been brewed.
The factory meter is decisive for this determination.
- Proof of proper device service must be provided in the event of damage and must also be carried out by the respective factory customer service, provided that the factory regulations do not allow the user to carry out their own work.
- In deviation from point 4, the possible performance per device is limited to its economic current value at the time the damage occurs. This is 75% from the 3rd year, 65% in the 4th year and 55% in the 5th year of the proven, original purchase price. The customer is free to prove a higher current value in individual cases.
8. Conditions for fittings
In addition:
A guarantee for fittings only exists if they are in accordance with the specifications. have been professionally installed in accordance with the manufacturer's assembly and sealing instructions. A guarantee is also excluded in the following cases:
- Signs of wear and scratches;
- Reduction of the flow rate due to contamination or calcification;
- Damage to the galvanized surface or the paint and varnish due to the use of unsuitable cleaning agents;
- Leaks due to loose connections;
- Too little pressure due to different pressure conditions in the pipe network;
- Damage to wear parts such as cracked metal coating on the shower hose.
Consent to data processing
